| Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) | Top |
The CAD subsystem creates call for service records (CFS) for emergency and non-emergency situations. After a CFS is generated, the destination address is verified and the call is assigned to the appropriate law enforcement agency. Through CAD, the incident information is electronically sent to the dispatch station where the calls are prioritized based on importance and length of time since the original call. The dispatchers then use the prioritized display screen to send a unit to the location. Once the responding officer reports back to the dispatcher, the call for service is closed.

| On-Line Offense Reporting (OLO) | Top |
The OLO subsystem is a central repository for all incident-based information generated by the ten (10) law enforcement agencies which include the Sheriff, 8 Constables and the Fire Marshal. There are various screens used to capture the entire case report including the following: Persons, Suspects, Articles, Vehicles, Location, Synopsis, and the Narrative. A public record (usually 1 page) is generated from the various screens of the case report.
