The Harris County Justice Information Management System (JIMS) is a data processing department that automates one of the largest county justice systems in the country. JIMS employees write and maintain computer programs that document the criminal and civil justice process in the county. JIMS was designed to serve the government agencies in the criminal justice community.
Through the Subscriber Access program, members of the public may access the JIMS computer system and retrieve county justice records lawfully available to the public. These records are entered and maintained by the Harris County District Clerk's Office.
