The JIMS Technical Committee consists of departmental project analysts and members of the Harris County Justice Intranet Managers Group serving as a forum to coordinate software and hardware systems changes.
The project analysts (PA) are departmental liaisons to JIMS in system matters.
Each department requiring JIMS software support provides at least one PA who performs the following:
- Identifies projects required within individual agencies.
- Translates the need into semi-technical language and specifications.
- Submits UWR (User Work Request) to JIMS for review, approval and prioritization by the PA group.
The Technical Committee usually meets every Tuesday. Meetings are normally held in the JIMS Conference/Training Room located at 406 Caroline, 2nd Floor at 9:00 a.m.
